The Perks of Being a Home Maker

I Love the days when i am at home and to myself.
There is peace and silence all around you and you can do all the things that you love to do.
Reading a book, making your room, preparing food for yourself.
The whole process of looking for the ingradiants and thinking of what you want to make is so much fun.
Its is like being and exploring your little world that you have created for yourself.

It relaxes you and make you happy and contended.

So this weekend i made ginger and tulsi Tea and bhel :).

You guys should also invest in some me time.

With every heart beat, love will always be ...:)

I have always belived that, "if there is love within you then the Universe will conspire it for you in your life" and may be that is why i dream of becoming an editorial photographer one day and  capture the moments to create pictures that can spread the love that is there deep down in all of us.

Few months back i got a chance to click one of my friends wedding and the experience was magical, not only because i got a chance to capture a beautiful love story but also beacuse i got a chance to understand that,"you can create your own world and that one world will be your reality, where you breath in and breath out love, where every heart beat, creats a magical essence of peace and serenity, where your are, who you are and will always be".

I thank Neeti and her husband for letting me be a part of there very speacial memories and with all my heart wish them a beautiful life ahead, where  - "LOVE WILL BE WITH EVERY HEART BEAT". :)

There is a love story in every heart and today i dedicate these pictures to each and every heart that is beating out there  and pray  to the universe that they beat forever  :) :-

My love as deep; the more I give to thee,

The more I have, both are infinite.

There are indeed no Goodbyes :)

Ganesh Utsav is celebrated each year with immense amount of excitement, creativity, months of hardwork and planning and this just gets double every year as if the utsav is happening for the first time.
You know the way   the rays of the sun fall at us every morning and renew, refresh and refine us with it's bright warmth and love it is exactly the same way here, "love just gets warmer and richer with each passing day".

A procession passes through my colony as well every year and i click pictures every year, but, "what is new in that "?
 The newness is :-
The sound of the dhol gets richer and vibrant every time!!
The excitement to leave what i am doing and run to grab my camera and get to the window increases every time !!
The thirst to go down and get the best emotions captured increases every time !!
The pictures that i click get better every time !!
The setting of the stage and people planning remain the same every time but devotion and dedication to do better increases every time!!
The procession remains the same every time but the love and togetherness it creates increases every time!!
The people remain the same every time but their warmth, care and spirit to celebrate the festival together with people they don't even know increases every time !!

This festival simply defines that,"There is a family created by God for all of us, this family possesses infinite love, the name of this family is, "HUMANITY".

God Bless Humanity :)

This shot is from my room's window, every year a stall is put here to give wada pav and fruit to all the people who take part in the kings send off procession .

The way a mother makes sure that all her children eat food the same way these guys in white make sure that all the people gathered around and in the procession have the prasad. I GUESS, "ANYTHING EATABLE MADE OR BOUGHT OR SHARED WITH A GOOD FEELING AND BELIEF BECOMES A PRASAD".

The Vibes of these kids made me feel as if,"we can make any revolution happen, be it a change for prosperity, peace or togetherness". I believe they made me believe we can only if we want to .

You think they are professional drummers!!!?, these guys are from all walks of life, from different professional backgrounds. They are paid a petty amount to beat the dhols in various processions during ganesh utsave. THE WAY THEY BEAT THE
DHOLS, IS AS IF THEY ARE JUST LIVING TO PLAY AT THAT VERY MOMENT, THEIR HANDS WON'T STOP TILL INFINITY AND THE SOUND OF THE DHOLS IS SURE TO MAKE YOUR HEART BEAT COME TO A STAND STILL. "I CALL THIS THE MAGIC OF PASSION".

BRAVE HEART ISN'T HE. we wait for opportunities to come our way and here this little one, in a simple way taught me,"opportunities are born out of hard work and belief".

smeared with colours and a thirsty throat that is how he and many of his fellow mates looked like but then when i saw the picture back home i realized," He is smeared in devotion of love and celebration of life and a thirst to feel gratitude by selflessly working hard for all the blessing that he is blessed with". MAY OUR THIRST STAY FOR EVER :)

To dance and smile in the celebration of togetherness - this is what Ganesha Festival in mumbai shouts out loud and reflects in every vibe and the excitement and love just gets higher and higher every time .

Though kept at a safer place from the dance crowd , the kids still dance in rhythm with the crowed .

The procession starting at around noon time, goes through many lanes, till it reaches juhu beach next morning. On the way there are n number of devotees who pass by to seek blessings and these hands make sure each and every devotee far and near gets the prasad. HERE I WILL CALL IT AN ACT OF GIVING - JUST GIVING

I have no idea what he was doing the the crowed , BUT HE MADE ME RUN BEHIND HIM. WORK OF ART FOR SURE :)

The moment they saw the camera facing them,"They caught the garlends to give me a clear view of the idol". There are very few who understand the motive behind a camera facing them, happy i am that there are such people. God bless them :)
